Our mission was too reduce disparities by turning ideas shown to work into policies and actions. We sought to establish UConn Health as a leader in health equity by creating a collaborative environment that brings together different perspectives to look at root causes and potential solutions to health disparities.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6bd5b016 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"6bd5b016\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h5 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">The Solution<\/h5>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-147b3028 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"147b3028\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tFourteenG created and branded the Equal Coverage to Care Coalition. The EC2C project addressed health literacy, health system navigation, and simplified health insurance issues. This was accomplished by identifying and leveraging resources to provide assistance to low-income, racial ethnic minorities and other disadvantaged populations to overcome insurance-related
